Hundreds of local residents attend ‘Come and Meet Chris’ events

Chris Skidmore, MP for Kingswood, has been holding a series of public meetings across the Kingswood constituency inviting local residents to come and meet Chris and ask him anything.
So far public meetings have taken place in Longwell Green, Cadbury Heath, Emersons Green, Hanham, Kingswood and Mangotsfield with hundreds of people attending so far. Questions from local residents have ranged from protecting the Green Belt at Longwell Green and Mangotsfield to road safety in Cadbury Heath.
Chris said, “These events allow local residents to come and discuss the issues that matter most to them with their local MP. Many people have the same problems in their area and by coming together we can work together to get these problems solved.”
Future ‘Come and Meet Chris’ events are:
Friday 25th June:
5pm - 6.30pm St Anne's Church Hall, School Road, Oldland Common
7pm - 8.30pm North Common Village Hall, Millers Drive
Friday 2nd July:
5pm - 6.30pm Warmley Community Centre, Warmley
7pm - 8.30pm St Mary's Church Hall, Bitton
