New Traffic calming measures which are being introduced in North Common have been welcomed by Chris Skidmore MP and local Councillors Sam Bromiley and Paul Hughes.
Chris Skidmore MP took the opportunity to visit the site with the Councillors and Metro Mayor candidate Tim Bowles to see the scale of work underway and the benefit it will have on the local community. The work to complete the speed bumps will be due to be completed shortly.
Speaking about the work Chris said, " I am grateful for all the hard work by Sam and Paul in bringing forward and securing the funding for these much needed works. Since becoming the local MP I have been contacted by a number of residents who had serious concerns over the speed in which cars travelled down Mill Lane so I am pleased with the action being taken.."
