Campaigning for Crews Hole

After being alerted about Bristol City Council's proposal to make changes to Crews Hole Road, Chris Skidmore MP has contacted the Mayor of Bristol, George Ferguson, expressing his concerns.

Deerswood Park funding boost

Rodway councillors Kevin Seager and Carol McCarthy are continuing to support our local area's green spaces. They have most recently helped Friends of Deerswood to secure £10,000 of funding which will be put towards the play equipment at Deerswood Park.

Mangotsfield jobs fair a success

Chris Skidmore MP's latest jobs fair, which took place at Mangotsfield Secondary School, has proven to be a success with a large number of constituents turning up to speak with local employers about job vacancies in their area. 

Grimsbury Farm Volunteering

On Thursday 25th of July Chris Skidmore MP volunteered in Grimsbury Farm. The farm is owned by South Gloucestershire Council but it still relies on volunteers from the area to help run it and to keep it accessible to the community.

Chris Teaches at Beacon Rise Primary School

On Friday 12th July, Chris Skidmore MP visited Beacon Rise Primary School on Hanham Road and taught a history lesson to the school's 8 year olds. In the lesson Chris recounted the tale of the Battle of Bosworth and Richard 111, much to the delight of the children.
